Rick Noriega for Senate
Rick Noriega served in the Army for thirty years and later became a Lt. Colonel in the Army National Guard. He has since been elected as a member of the Texas Legislature, and served in Afghanistan with the Texas National Guard after 9/11. He has represented Houston in the U.S. House of Representatives since 1998, and Blackrock assisted him in his run for Senate in 2008.
Noriega ran on a platform in favor of pulling troops out of Iraq and reclaiming America's position as a global economic and humanitarian leader. Blackrock Associates worked with Noriega's Senate campaign to grow his email list, build support through Texas, and generate support among online activists. We helped the campaign raise nearly $1.8 million online and build a list of over 200,000 supporters in what became one of the most heavily supported races throughout the progressive blogosphere.
