Senator Carl Levin (Friends of Senator Carl Levin)
The Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee,
Carl Levin has represented Michigan
in the U.S. Senate since 1979. While an opponent of President Bush’s unilateral
decision to invade Iraq
in 2003, Levin has worked tirelessly to support the creation of a democratic
government in the country.
Levin developed the Friends of Carl Levin site to serve as a vehicle for communicating with constituents and others interested in his work in the Senate, and to draw attention to important national issues such as reforming the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination system and supporting federal funding for embryonic stem cell research.
Blackrock Associates worked with design partner The Pod
Project to develop and launch the Friends of Senator Carl Levin website and helped the Senator grow his email list.
