Amy Klobuchar for Senate
Hennepin County Attorney Amy Klobuchar was the Democratic candidate to replace the retiring Mark Dayton in the 2006 Minnesota Senate race.
Picked by most analysts – including Charlie Cook – as the most threatened Democratically-held seat that was up in 2006, Klobuchar’s campaign cruised to a 20-point victory against Republican Rep. Mark Kennedy.
