Nick Lampson for Congress
A former representative who lost his seat after the Tom DeLay-led partisan redistricting of Texas in 2004, Nick Lampson fought back and returned to Congress by capturing DeLay’s old seat in 2006.
Blackrock Associates helped lead a redesign for the Pollie award-winning Lampson website. The site was designed to engage new and repeat visitors, using flash, video, and online activist tools such as online petitions, tell-a-friend functionality, and downloadable grassroots resources. Blackrock managed the online fundraising program for Lampson, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars online. In addition, Blackrock helped the campaign develop and launch the award-winning “DeLay’s Dollars” game (www.delaysdollars.com).
